The following are the official rules for the text-to-win contests sponsored by Echo Broadcasting Group, a subsidiary of Mega Media Group, Inc. (hereinafter “Pulse 87”).

To enter you must be eighteen (18) years of age and over and a legal United States resident, unless otherwise stated and/or posted. Other eligibility restrictions are described below. Participation and entry into any PULSE 87 contest conducted automatically constitutes agreement to these PULSE 87 Contest Rules and Terms of Use.
Prize Description
Pulse 87 will generally award prizes with a value of between $50 and $4,000.00. The prize for each contest will be announced on-air.
How to Enter Contests
Throughout the day, an announcement will be made on-air specifying the beginning and ending times for the text-to-win contests and how to enter using a mobile telephone or via email. The number of contests on any given day may vary. Individuals wishing to enter via SMS text message must send the appropriate text to the shortcode as specified in the announcement. Entrants must send entries using the correct contest entry text message address, subject line, and any other specific entry information requested in the contest announcement. PULSE 87 is not responsible for incomplete or incorrect entries or for text messages sent but not received by PULSE 87 for any reason. Such attempted entries are void and shall not be eligible for the prizes. Standard text rate messaging costs apply as well as a premium charge between 99 cents and $2.00 as announced on air prior to and/or during the promotional period. The premium SMS charge will be billed by Spark Network Services, Inc. and appear on your bill as “Premium $______.”
Alternate entry is permissible via email at win@pulse87.com. To be eligible to win, email entrants must put 1) “Pulse 87 Contest” in the subject line, 2) the phrase stated during the on air announcement in the body of the e-mail, if any, and 3) provide a working telephone number at which contact can be made. Pulse 87.8 reserves the right to provide for other means of contest entry, which will be announced on-air.
The PULSE 87 will allow the time period for entry as specified in the announcement.
Pulse 87 may limit the number of entries by on-air announcement. Pulse 87 is not responsible for incorrect, misdirected, incomplete, or untimely SMS or emails.
Choosing the Winners
An entrant can win the contest by being the 87th person to correctly text or email an entry, unless a different ___th person to correctly text or email an entry is instructed by the on-air announcement to be the winner.
Notification of Winners
Winners will be contacted at the “sender”rtt cell phone number used to enter the contest or the phone number given by an email entrant, and the person receiving and answering the winner announcement (text or voice) will be considered the winner. Any prize not claimed within thirty (30) days of winning will be forfeited.
Failure to respond shall mean that the winner forfeits the prize. PULSE 87 is not required to award elsewhere any prizes forfeited by the chosen winner(s) and no second chance drawing will be conducted.
Awarding Prizes
Each prize winner must supply PULSE 87 with his/her legal name, mailing address, birth date and winning mobile telephone number. In the case of any prize valued at $600 or greater, the winner must also supply social security number.
Winners may not request substitutions of prize winnings, nor may winners assign said prize winnings and no assignment of same will be honored by PULSE 87. All winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or fees, and all such additional costs that may be incurred.
Neither PULSE 87, PULSE 87 sponsors, nor employees of PULSE 87 or its sponsors may be held liable for any costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of participation or attempted participation in the promotion. PULSE 87 is not liable for any loss arising out of or in connection with or resulting from any contest promoted by PULSE 87. Entrants authorize Pulse 87 to use their name, city and state of residence, voice and likeness in programming or promotional material in perpetuity, worldwide, without further compensation.
Odds of Winning
The odds of winning the Prize depends upon the number of entrants in the Promotion Database, at the close of the applicable entry period. As the number or entrants will vary so will the chances of winning.
Prohibited Entries
Pulse 87 reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with or otherwise seeks to undermine the entry process.
Management, employees and families of PULSE 87, Echo Broadcasting Group and Mega Media Group are prohibited from winning any prizes awarded by PULSE 87.
Pulse 87 reserves the right to alter any rules of any contest at anytime.

To receive a list of winners, send a self addressed stamped envelope to: Mega Media Group, 1122 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11230, Attn: Winners List. Postage may be omitted on the return envelope for residents of the states of Vermont and Washington.
